My First Granny Square Cat Ear Beanie || Crochet

A while back I got two packs of milk cotton yarn as a gift. The gift was sweet since it came with a new set of crochet hooks but the best part is that they all came in gradients and today I will be showing you what I did with the green gradient.

I am a crocheter so by default I have a strange addiction when it comes to yarn, hooks, stitch markers and other accessories.

Hopefully I am not the only one going through this. Let's call him ‘he’. He has a habit of gifting me yarn anytime he comes visiting for the past two years which is really sweet. I love two things and they are crochet supplies and gadgets and it's either I get new supplies or new gadgets but this time was way better. I got both.

I got the headphones first so honestly i was not expecting yarns, then he said he had rendered something for me, if you know me you will know that suspense and i are not friends at all.

The entire trip to the waybill center of the park I was begging to know what it was but all I got was ‘you will see it when we get back’ followed by a chuckle.

Trust me everything i guessed it was was far from the actual thing literally countries away, figuratively, We got back and i grabbed it and flung the carton open. Lo and behold it was yarns, a tote bag, new hok set and a lint remover. I was screaming.

I only brought up a lint remover one time and said it'll be nice to have one for my business and there it was staring me in the face.

I proceeded to scream mre because whatttt for meeeeeeee arrggghhhh but yeah i spent more hours staring at the gift and screaming each time

I was so excited because it was the most thoughtful gift I have ever gotten and they always come from him most of the time.

So I thought to myself that everything that I would make from these yarns would be very cozy and comfy. The sock I made was als from these and since the cold over here is slowly starting I made this to cover my head and ears since they are very sensitive to cold.

So i picked green, the yarn felt so fluffy s the making process was sweet, very sweet, when i finished up and sent pictures to him he said ‘hope this one's for me yeah’ and also said that in return for always taking his tee shirts that he will be taking any of my beanies whenever he sees them. In my defense I only own cat ear beanies, the regular ones always go to him. He literally owns more beanies than I do.

Anyways this is what i made and i hope you all love it like i do.
