Crochet Dual colored Beanie

A lot of people have different reasons and stories behind why they started crocheting or why they got into crafts in general but i think mind is really random and funny even

In Nigerian schools, junior high or senior high, not all the schools though but yeah mine was one of the schools. We do extracurriculars like painting, crochet and others.

I got into the crochet sessions and my friends and i learnt how to make bags after weeks we made crochet bags to sling on our backs during exam period since we mostly carried pens and mat sets

Fast forward to how many years later on a fine sunny afternoon, i was home alone and i was bored to the brim if that's a thing, i was thinking of what i cold do to make the boredom g away and i remembered wait i used to do this as a kid how about i try something.

Stepped out, got hooks and yarn came home and ran to youtube. I learnt how to properly do basic stitches and when I got a hang of it it felt really nice and yes I spent hours there without realising it .

I think the first real project I made was a bra top. The nes with the triangular cups yeahhhhhh, crazy thing is that in my learning process i was using a 1.5mm hk or lower i am not sure, it was one of those stainless steel hooks that have numbers on them but at that time i didn't know that was a small hk because i had never seen bigger sizes

My first project was the most uncomfortable crochet piece i have ever rn, the design was pretty yeah i shockingly get it right on the first try but the problem is that i got a bad yarn s it itched the living daylight out of me
Second project was another bra top but i tried different yarn and bigger hook and gradually started getting a gang of it

Built my lil wardrobe from there the mesh tops, shrugs , tote bags, shorts skirts top i made anything that i found fascinating even for a split second and i started getting confidence in my work i posted and took a few clients and its safe to say i did not disappoint

Hosted my first group class it was a beta program srt of so it was free and i got my audience class was successful and i kept going and going and eventually turned my hobby into a business

Safe to say I got bored and decided to learn art. It is fun to live my work actually but for me the best part is putting smiles on the faces of my clients and loved ones.this is my sweet story in a few words
