Colors and Blues || Crochet Ruffle Hat

#needlework

If there's one thing I'm grateful for it's how my clients keep my brand going year in and year out. Speaking of which, my brand will be “6” by next month and I am so excited. I made this for a client and I'll love you to read through while I bubble about. The side we don't talk about a lot.

It might seem strange but running a business can be very exhausting like right now. I remember how much happiness I felt getting this order and how much I wanted to brag about it, talk about it, show it off, say “yes I made that”, show people, literally make it a huge things since it came out exacto I wanted it to, but I can't seem to come up with any explanation or body that actually describe how I felt in the women I had worked in it and how I felt when I finished it up so I just decided to type what is currently on my mind.

One thing I have struggles with or more like something I've always had trouble doing is keeping both parts of my brain active at the same time. And no it's not something creepy it's just that like in this situation I'd love to be able to come up with posts and blogs that we'll describe how I felt and the process of making basically everything and be able to switch back to being calculative or planning my brands growth.

But the issue is my brain stays on one at a time and take a little awhile longer to reset to the other which explains the times I'm not on here or

the times I'd love to ramble about my art and I just cannot find the words or the times I get excited about making a post but end up staring at a blank document for hours on end because nothing clicks.

It can be a lot to take it but in all of it I'm happy I have my art, not necessarily making clients orders but just making anything from designing for kids to designing for adults, and cute things for teenage girls, something for family, every design, texture and color palette I have been able to explore just because I decided to pick up a crochet hook one random afternoon years ago.

Making this ruffle hat made me happy, I have a thing for mixing colors and I also got to try a new volume of ruffles so I was truly delighted.

I spent hours on end on this. It was not an urgent order, I had weeks to deliver, but when I started I wanted to see the outcome so much that I brought it to life quickly.

The colors by the side. The little details on the ruffles, and the part we all dread, having to see in the ends of the yarns. But it was all worth it when I got to hold up the ruffle hat and all I could smile. It was perfect gave this little princess vibe and I guess that's what got me
