A Little Thank You With Stitches

#needlework

For a while now, I’ve been thinking of how to incorporate freebies into my brand, something meaningful, thoughtful, and lasting. I’ve seen how many vendors include candy, juice boxes, or small snacks in their orders. And while that’s cute and appreciated, I wanted to do something that would linger a bit longer in the heart and hands of my clients.

Edibles are lovely, but they’re temporary. I wanted something that could stay with the person, something useful, intentional, and beautiful.

So I began researching and saving inspiration. I came across a few crochet gift ideas and instantly felt excited. I thought, “yeah that's the one” My goal was simple, to bring a little joy when my client opens her package, to make her feel seen and appreciated.

The thing is these gifts also hav2 to match or sort of mirror the client's personality. It'll be like giving a scrunchie to someone that doesn't tie their hair up. So I'd love it to be useful to the clients themselves

This particular piece is a flower-inspired keychain. I came across a version of the design online, and I just loved how soft and feminine it looked. It reminded me of the client I was creating it for, she had ordered an item in a pink gradient, so it only felt right to make something to match. Seeing the final result made me smile. It looked so pretty .

What’s interesting is that people often assume making small handmade gifts like this keychain takes a huge amount of time, but this keychain took me less than two hours from start to finish. It’s a small gesture, but I know how powerful the unexpected can be.

The order hasn’t been delivered yet, so I don’t know her reaction, but I really hope it adds a smile to her face. I want her to feel the love and thought behind it. This freebie isn’t just a “thank you” message card, it’s a thank you with stitches. A soft way of saying, “You didn’t have to choose my brand, but you did, and I see you.”

Starting this new journey of adding small crochet gifts has been one of the most fulfilling decisions I’ve made for my brand. It gives me the space to try out cute little designs I’ve had in my head forever, and it adds heart to every package I send out.

Still working on so much more I'd love it to be a beautiful journey whenever someone shops from me. From the customer service to the follow up. To the delivery and even the product. I want the whole ironing to make clients dance in their chairs because the feeling is giddy.
