Watercolor: Hibiscus Flower

Today I made simple hibiscus flower image. I wanted to make simple watercolor art without having to get into complexity. Here's the final output of the art I used the border because otherwise with the camera that i have it would not be visible there.

So let me explain the steps that I have taken to make the final result that is shown above. It has few of the steps that you can easily see here and it would be pretty cool to observe there.

Started with simple pencil art and the result is like below shown.

Now time to add the colors. I used the orange, yellow, dark red and also few of the green variants etc. Like say one of the green variation was a bit more thick and other was more of light one.

Finally had to use the gel pen with the black ink which is supposed to be used for the border.

It would make things easier for the painting these flowers. Hopefully this would be a good example for those who are trying watercolor art doodles or just flexing their watercolor practice. Let me know if you like this process and final results there. :)
