FÖRCÈD TO MARRY THE CÖLD-HEARTED PRINCE

WRITTEN BY: Utibe Danson

Iganya thought that she was dreaming as prince Ayegba moved closed to her and squatted down in front of her.

She sat up and faced him. The man in front of her was so attractive but he looked scàry too. At a point, Iganya began to shîver under his gaze.

His eyes looked so cold and Iganya felt like she would freeze to dèàth if something was not quickly done.

When she tried to stand up, she saw him move and his hand was on her nèck in a flash.

Iganya needed no one to tell her that she was not dreaming anymore. The handsome man she saw was real but she had jûdged him wróngly. Written by Safiya T Idris.

He was nó god, he was the mónster she was fórcèd to married, no one had to tell her who he was because she already knew by his actions.

She had heard about his dev!lish ways and she also knew that that was why princess Ajifa pûshed her into the marriage.

Tears run down her beautiful face as he squeèzed her neck mercîlessly.

She couldn't even breath properly anymore. She strûggled but never attempted to fîght back. She believed that her end had come and there was no way she would be able to fîght the hûnk in front of her.

Besides, she had been trained by princess Ajifa never to fîght back. Princess Ajifa had told her that her life was wórthless so she must not try to fîght back even in the face of dèath.

Iganya remembered all she had been through in life and her heart blèd, not only because of the paîn she was feeling but because of the life she lived.

She had sûffered all her life and even though she had no right to dream and hope for a better tomorrow, she still dreamt and hoped.

She saw that hope and dream crûmbling before her very eyes as prince Ayegba continued squèez!ng her neck.

Although for some reasons, the prince's grîp on her neck was loosing.

Prince Ayegba never knew that he had a wèak point until that day. He found out that he could not go ahead with his plan of kîllîng Iganya because she was not fîghtîng back.

She wasn't even scrèaming, he could only see tears gûshing out of her big round eyes.

Prince Ayegba liked it when his opponent fîght back. In fact, his opponent f!ghting back or strûggling with him was his strength but he didn't know this until the night he met Iganya.

Iganya coughed hàrd and inhaled air rapidly immediately the prince let her go.

Prince Ayegba released his hold on her but his eyes never left hers. His eyes followed hers as she tried to catch her breath and regain her composure.

He found her eyes fascinating but fèar consumed him when he noticed that he could not look away.

Many great men were dèstróyed by women and he knew instantly that the woman in front of him would be the end of him if nothing was done fast.

He just couldn't believe how she was able to bring out different feelings that he never thought he had out of him in just one night.

No! He mumbled and gràbbèd her hand, dràgging her out of his chamber.

Prince Ayegba thrèw Iganya out of his chamber and locked his door. His heart ràced rapidly even as she was gone, his father would answer a lot of questions the next morning.
.
It was already dark and Iganya didn't know her way around the palace. She didn't know where to go or who to ask questions.

The guards who were standing around acted like they saw nothing. They were trained to mind their own business.

Well, nothing was new to Iganya. Not even sleeping outside in the cold so she walked aimlessly around the palace until she found a suitable corner and sat down.

She remained seated until the next morning. She was not the only one who didn't sleep that night, prince Ayegba didn't sleep too. He couldn't stop thinking about what happened that night.

The next morning, he went straight to his father to seek answers.

Meanwhile, king Idu was in his room thinking about the information he got from one of his guard.

He was happy when he heard that his son had thrown his new wife out of his room. That was what he wanted, he did that to show the princess of Udama that she was nobody in his kingdom. He wanted her to know that she would be treated like tràsh in Ajala kingdom. That was why he sent her to the prince's chamber.

King Idu's heart desires was granted but he was not completely happy.

He saw how beautiful his son's new wife was. Any man with blôód running through his vein would be tèmptèd but his son thrèw her out of his room and he was worried about that.

The confused king began to wonder if his son was healthy.

King Idu was still thinking about what to do when someone bàrged into his room.

He knew who the person was without looking back. Prince Ayegba, he was the only one with such guts.

"Father why? You promised me. What was she doing in my room last night?" Prince Ayegba asked angrîly.

"Son, I only wanted to test you and you passed. I am proud of you." King Idu replied with a fórced smile on his face.

"A promise is a promise father and you bróke your promise to me." Prince Ayegba said cóldly as he turned around to leave the room but his father stopped him.

"It's time for you to give us an heir. I will get you the most beautiful woman in Ajala if you can't find one yourself." King Idu said stèrnly to make his words sink in but he only succeeded in infurîating his son.

"You've done enough father. Don't you dare do more than you've already done!" Prince Ayegba shóuted, pûnching the wall since he could hît his father.

He angrîly walked out on his father before he could say any other thing.

"This is too much!" King Idu said to himself as he watched his son's display of màdnèss.

When you point a finger at someone always remember that your remaining fingers will be pointing right back at you.

When king Idu was feeding his son all sorts of lîes about women, he didn't know that his son would need one in his life one day.
.

"Please, take me to the king." Iganya pleaded with a maid she saw that morning.

That was how Iganya found herself in the throne room and she waited there for hours before the king finally came.

King Idu didn't prètend when he saw Iganya this time. He told her all she needed to know.

"Your father and I have some scores to settle so I will start from you but your father and his people will feel my wràth when the time is right." King Idu paused waiting for her reaction but she remained calm so he continued.

"You are a maîd in my kingdom starting from this moment." He said to Iganya before facing one of his guards.

"Take her to the maîds quarters and make sure she dress up like the maid that she is." King Idu said but to his surprise, Iganya looked unbothered. Why would she bóther when she was born a maîd.

She was even happy that the king didn't order her exècutîon. As she quietly left the throne room with the guard, the king watched her.

He was a very cunnîng man too so he knew when someone was using some kind of tricks on him.

"Hey you.Get me Edibo!" He said to one of his guards. Edibo was one of his spies and he just knew that he needed him. Written by Safiya T Idris.

Something fishy was going on and king Idu would not rest until he had gotten to the bottom of it.

"Hum hum hum hum!" He mumbled as so many thoughts ran through his mind. The gods knows that he would not spàre Abalaka if his suspicion turns out to be true.

Thanks everyone for your support, i love you all ❣️
