The Choco - The world of chocolate and memories
Hello dear Hivers in Cinnamon Cup Coffee community, today I would like to take you to a special cafe in Da Lat, which is The Choco. Located in the old railway station of Da Lat city, The Choco has a classic style. It is a place where you can find fine chocolates and learn about a historical part of Dalat city with the ruins of an old train station.
Dalat Railway Station is a famous historical site with the legendary cog railway. The cog railway Thap Cham - Da Lat built from 1902 - 1932 is one of only two cog railways in the world, the other in Switzerland. Unfortunately, after gaining independence, the Vietnamese destroyed this legendary railway. Currently, the railway line at Da Lat station is only about 20km and is reserved for tourism.
The Choco cafe is an ideal place for tourists when visiting Da Lat train station. The Choco has a quiet space where customers can choose for themselves a corner to work, or chat with friends. The classic and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant brings relaxation to customers.
The drinks at The Choco can be said to be superb with the imprint of European cuisine. The Choco's best drinks are chocolate drinks. In addition, the cafe also displays and sells chocolate products. I've tried some of the chocolate products here, and I can say they're really good.
The Choco cafe is decorated in a classical style with ancient items which were used hundreds of years ago. Photos of old Da Lat taken during the war are also displayed here to give visitors a historical look at the development of modern Da Lat city.
If you like being close to nature, you can sit and sip a cup of coffee in the outdoor space of The Choco cafe. The tables and chairs are arranged in a reasonable way so that customers can enjoy the cool air and the garden with many different plants. From the outdoor space of The Choco, you can admire the beauty of the old Da Lat railway station.
