I was betrayed by an Old West NPC! - Photo challenge
Hello friends, I hope you are well, as you may already know these days we have seen post with varied stories of memorable NPC for this interesting weekly challenge, and well I have also prepared a photographic adventure to participate.
Yes, it took me a little while to look for a video game that had a deep NPC in terms of story or purpose, but after trying several video games I managed to find one in "Gun" the classic cowboy video game in the style of red dead redemption, get comfortable and enjoy this adventure.
I really never thought that in a video game I would experience betrayal, it all started one morning when after three days of being totally unconscious I was on the shores of the lake and maybe they were wondering how I got there? Well, that will be for another time.
A ragged man came up to me and started going through my pockets taking away a valuable heirloom that my father Ned gave me before he died on that ship... Quickly, I got up from the ground and told that man to give me back my heirloom, this man nervously told me that he thought I was dead, he also gave me back my jewel.
This NPC who wanted to rob me shook my hand and introduced himself as Tom "the honest one". I was supposed to get to the village to deliver that relic, but I didn't even have any idea where it was. The NPC Tom told me that he could help me guide to the village and also told me that he could lend me one of his horses, something that would fit me like a ring on my finger.
Something important to highlight is that up to this point I started to like Tom, because he was very funny and also wanted to help me with transportation, but before he proposed a "sports" horse race if I managed to reach the finish line, he would win me a horse first.
After galloping and fighting for the victory I managed to beat Tom in this riders race, he congratulated me and explained to me the direction of the village; however, he proposed to help me learn some tricks on the horse like shooting some wolves and how to drift among other epic things that I didn't know how to do before. This filled me with a lot of joy, because I learned everything thanks to the recent, but reliable friend Tom the honest, this seemed like the beginning of a long friendship...
But that was what I thought from the beginning to the end I finish my wrong idea totally when I approached Tom to explain the next step, and he congratulated me and then pointed his gun at me and threatened to kill me to take away that blissful jewel of a rare mineral called "Alhambra" that turns out to be very valuable in the market...
More bandits came to kill me together with Tom, here I felt a great disappointment that played very well with my feelings XD, because at first I thought I would be a good friend, but I turned out to be one more of the bunch, a despicable man wrapped up by greed.
At this moment is where a big chase started where I had to fight to survive the shots of these thugs, the worst thing is that I had to fight alone against the NPC tom and his two friends, I started maneuvering with my horse and gun in hand I managed to shoot down the first two leaving Tom to finish.
Something intriguing is that Tom himself taught me how to shoot and improve my aim, I ended up killing him with that same skill, because after all I had no other choice, that's how I end my day in the Old West. While I was reflecting I saw the beautiful sunset that was saying goodbye to this revealing day, because I understood that I should not trust even my own shadow, in this remote place I will be from now on a lonely traveler, cold and distrustful...

For a brief moment he was your racing pal, then he became your tutor, and at the end he betray your trust, that's cowboy style I guess. Either Tom kills you and you end him, that's how it should in there. It's a memorable one.
