Connecting with nature

Hi guys, in terms of video games lately I have been looking for an experience closer to nature, since I consider that the action has been too much, so I've been varying in genres and the best way is with firewatch a video game that connects with the nature and calm of life, however, it has an interesting story that caught me from the beginning, since it is usually a bit sad and reflective.

I start this adventure with an interesting backstory in which the protagonist remembers how he met his beloved wife Julia which he met drinking a few drinks, with her, he had beautiful experiences to the point of wanting to form a home, however, old age and dementia came into Julia's life making the protagonist had to take care of her and give her a long treatment. Something that I loved is that while telling this story I as a player could make decisions in the protagonist's life, I don't know if this really changes the end of the plot. Later on, from what I managed to understand is that the protagonist unfortunately loses his wife, although they do not say it directly, so that over the years this man wants to seek an escape from reality and thus seek peace of mind working in a nature reserve as a forest ranger. ![]() Unfortunately, I got so caught up in the introduction of this game that I forgot to take pictures of the first day, so I've fast forwarded to the second day of this adventure, so here I am in the morning drinking coffee while typing something on the typewriter. ![]() Apparently, the only problem here is not the wild bears, but also some vandals who want to disturb the tranquillity of this majestic place. As you can see, they broke a window of the shelter while I was outside. ![]() You can't miss this sunrise, so I want to show you the outside from the balcony, some pictures I will leave you views from various angles. ![]() ![]() These photographs transmit tranquillity to me, and I was playing a little with the perspectives from the heights of the shelter. ![]() To get a better view of the landscape and the sunrise, I took this shot to get a cleaner view of the panorama. ![]() I took the radio to communicate with my other friend from the other station, however, she told me to explore the surroundings a bit to verify that everything was in order. ![]() ![]() ![]() Coming down from the refuge, I took the opportunity to take these pictures behind some trees that let the sun's rays pass through. ![]() Apparently the wind was so strong that it knocked down some trees by the roots, I wonder if the shelter could resist those gusts? ![]() To enter the forest I say goodbye to the shelter while I take this beautiful landscape picture, in fact I think this could work as my wallpaper after some interesting editing. For the next adventure I want to go deeper, in the meantime I thank you for reading and commenting! ![]() Requirements to play: Processor: Intel Core i3 2.00 GHz or AMD equivalent ![]() |
