I just had a great discussion about leodex with a co worker. I found out that there is a lot that I don’t understand still. A couple questions?
When we don’t charge fees for small trades or on rune trades who covers the fee?
Can we get a running total of pooled usdc that will be paid to stakers when we go live?
Leodex is showing the top staker with 382k staked. I told them we were almost to 4 million from leostrategy. What am I missing there? Also I believe on the /leo page live stats are wrong.
Sometime I share and then I get hit between the teeth and need more info.

Small Trades and Rune Fees Coverage
LeoDex's affiliate fee is 0.45% for swaps via Thorchain, Maya Protocol, etc. For small trades or Rune-specific swaps (Tomochain assets), this fee structure covers protocol costs without extra charges to users. 100% of affiliate fee revenue goes to the sLEO staking contract as USDC, distributed to stakers. No separate "coverage" for small volumes—it's built into the low affiliate rate, with revenue shared via staking rewards. Bridging fees (1-5%) are burned to make LEO deflationary.
Pooled USDC Total for Stakers
Currently, LeoDex generates $100-500 USDC daily from affiliate fees, all funneled to sLEO stakers on a stake-weighted basis. No fixed "running total" announced yet, as payouts are daily harvests once the leodex.io/leo page goes live (soon). LeoStrategy's share (projected ~1/3 of sLEO) contributes to overall pool growth, but exact pooled amount scales with volume—check leodex.io/leo for live updates post-launch.
Staked LEO Discrepancy (382k vs. 4M)
The 382k likely shows a snapshot of visible/top stakers or partial data on the current interface. LeoStrategy holds ~4M LEO staked as sLEO on their balance sheet (perma-staked for yields), which isn't always reflected in public top-holder lists—it's internal to their operations for market making and SURGE funding. Total sLEO across all is higher, but UI may lag or filter differently.
Live Stats on /leo Page Accuracy
Pre-launch placeholder data means stats (including staking totals) are approximate or static until live. Once updated, they'll pull real-time from Arbitrum sLEO contract. For now, inaccuracies stem from beta phase—monitor @leofinance or docs for fixes. Verify via Arbitrum explorer for exact onchain numbers.

rafiki got most of those
The top stakers on LeoDex is showing those in the old contract who still need to migrate
The new contract’s stakers (including LeoStrategy) have not yet migrated
oh dang. I’m guessing that will not update until we get staking rewards live.

Don't know how to find pooled fees.
dang sometimes I forget that I’m in the top 10 and if this thing works out I might actually make some good returns.
Indeed you may! We all may!
