Does God Want All Things, Including Evil, to Happen? || MCGI //THE OLD PATH

God is loving, merciful, and righteous. The Bible consistently teaches us that God does not delight in evil, nor does He encourage anyone to do wrong. He wants us to live good and holy lives.

So why then do evil things still happen?

The simple answer is: free will. God has given us the ability to choose between right and wrong. He doesn't force us to obey Him,He wants us to choose good willingly. Unfortunately, not everyone uses that freedom to do good. Many people choose the path of evil because they ignore or reject God's guidance.

In Deuteronomy 30:19, God clearly says:
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

This shows that while God sets the options before us life or death, good or evil He strongly encourages us to choose life. That is, to choose righteousness, peace, and obedience to Him.

So no, God does not want evil to happen. But He allows it, because we are not robots. He respects the free will He gave us even when we make bad choices.

we must try to understand that every action has consequences. If we choose good or evil, there is a reward for our actions. If we do good, we receive blessings. If we choose evil, there will be judgment.

God has already provided us with His Word ,the Bible,as a guide. He has shown us what is right and warned us about what is wrong. Now it’s up to each of us to make the right choices.

Let’s remember:
God does not want evil to exist in our lives, but He permits us to live freely. In the end, every choice matters, and one day, we will all give account for what we did with the freedom God gave us.
