Missed those green mangoes and boiled bananas dipped in "ginamos" after siesta time.🤩 I remember when we were living in Davao de Oro, after the siesta, our helper would cook "mundoy" bananas(if you know the variety. It's a small type of banana which is yellow orange and so sweet and delectable when cooked), and I always asked for "ginamos," which my Mom made. The ginamos she always makes are the "turnos" (tiny anchovies) that she bought from her fish vendor, "suki". She would make an omelette and some portion she makes "ginamos" with plenty of garlic from Ilocos which makes the fermented fish so palatable when cooked. Yay! I'm craving for it now!🤣🤣🤣
