It is finally getting better

This is basically it I am satisfied with the silhouette of the cat and the shape of its tail, her hat, the apron and the dress. Getting the right shape of these is very challenging

After I took a break I was eager to work on the hat. I focused my attention on making just the hat because just thinking about all the details at this point makes me go crazy and paralyzed, I get distracted easily and lose my focus and the feeling of getting overwhelmed is another roadblock for me. Deciding on the color of the hat took longer but the details I put on it is easy and quick. At first I was thinking ribbons but I used some flowers ribbons and nuts glad it all came together just fine. I could have spent my time on the hat more as I was feeling it but there are a lot more to do

these are berries but they look like flowers because I have not defined them yet. That will take another time to detail the berries so they will not look like a bunch of red herbs. My idea for the artistic cat prompt is show my cat gathering her raw materials to create her own paste from the berries and eventually make a paint . here the berries will produce raspberry red color. That’s the idea instead of just adding a tube of paint in her pouch. If you notice I also started adding some details on the cat here you see her tongue sticking out

I made an apron and stitched a pouch in front of it made from this fur material, that is how I want her pouch to look like — a little different from the reference image of the dtiys challenge. The apron requires a ton of brushstrokes to make the fur come alive

look at where it all started this is the look and stage where I almost gave up there were a few changes and improvements: the color of the hat became darker, the blouse became darker green and I gave up on the collar it is now plain, the light green tunic became a furry apron and the small lavender apron became a skirt. It pays to zoom out and take a break when nothing happens glad I did that hopefully I can finish this later or tomorrow hahaha
