Greetings gamers and video game content lovers, this is ILAZ speaking!

Today I bring you a post I wanted to do to show you what I experienced yesterday when I attended -after 3 years without doing it- the biggest videogame fan event in Caracas, Venezuela, an event known as Venezuela Game Show.

A few years ago I attended the 2nd edition and this year it's already the 5th, you can imagine the amount of time I had without attending; this year I didn't really want to do it either, first of all because I'm in a difficult financial situation right now and I'm also short of time, however, everything worked out to be able to do it and I don't regret it at all.

Thanks to @dimeshana I was able to attend today to what has been so far the best VGS I've been to, today I lived everything, so much that I will have to divide the experience into several posts because it was crazy, the first one I will do will be about the encounters and cosplays that I found on day 2 of the VGS, because I could not attend day 1, so, let's do it!

¡Saludos gamers y amantes del contenido de videojuegos, por aquí les habla ILAZ!

El día de hoy les traigo un post que quise hacer para mostrarles lo que viví el día de ayer al asistir —luego de 3 años sin hacerlo— al mayor evento de fans de los videojuegos en Caracas, Venezuela, un evento al que se le conoce con el nombre de Venezuela Game Show.

Hace unos años asistí a la 2da edición y en este caso ya van por la 5ta, se imaginarán la cantidad de tiempo que tenía sin asistir; este año tampoco tenía muchas ganas de hacerlo, en primer lugar porque ahorita ando en una situación financiera difícil y también ando corto de tiempo, sin embargo, todo constpiró para poder hacerlo y no me arrepiento en absoluto.

Gracias a @dimeshana pude asistir hoy a la que ha sido hasta ahora la mejor VGS a la que he ido, hoy viví de todo, tanto que tendré que dividir la experiencia en varios posts porque fue una locura, el primero que haré será sobre los encuentros y cosplays que me encontré en el día 2 de la VGS, porque no pude asistir al día 1, así que, ¡a darle!

Content Creators

First of all, I must mention the creator that I got the first time I went to the VGS, the great Jupeson, for those who do not know who he is, he is basically one of the best players of Team Fight Tactics in Venezuela, to the point of having a website with guides for the sets, he has made regional TFT tournaments and now he is ambassador of the VGS in Venezuela, he is a creator I have known for years with whom I have learned to play a lot of TFT, besides that, he is an incredibly nice person.

I was blessed to meet him again when I went to the arena where they were playing League Of Legends, I was able to chat with him a little bit and I really thought it was too cool to have taken a picture with him again, since the first picture we took together was in the year 2023, that my pana @thejuls and I found him by chance in the same way, I thank life that Jupe is still such an amazing person.

We now move on to one of the most controversial content creators in my country, because he makes satirical humor about the government and the socio-political, even socio-economic situation of it, his character is known as the Politigato, which is a drawn cat that looks just like the cat I'm holding in the picture.

It's interesting that the person behind the character is sometimes a very different person than the one you imagine, but this guy was exactly how I imagined him, and his voice was totally epic in person, plus the stuffed animal of his own character, I feel like it was an amazing encounter.

Last but not least, I met a very famous content creator from my country known as Rowre, which is a streamer that works on Shooters content in general, but his most rooted niche is Call Of Duty in any version; something that characterizes him in his content is that he is extremely rude and funny, but today I discovered that he is a character and that behind that character is a very nice person.

When I approached him I made a little joke telling him to "keep insulting Dominicans and beating them in the Warzone", then he laughed and gave me a hug, he told me that he was very grateful that I was hesitating his content and that he really felt very happy about it, that impressed me, I thought he was exactly like his character, but I got that pleasant surprise.

Los Creadores de Contenido

En primer lugar, debo mencionar al creador que me conseguí la primera vez que fui a la VGS, al gran Jupeson, para los que no saben quién es, pues básicamente es uno de los mejores jugadores de Team Fight Tactics de Venezuela, al punto de tener un sitio web con guías para los sets, ha hecho torneos de TFT regionales y ahora es embajador de la VGS dentro de Venezuela, es un creador que conozco desde hace años con el cuál he podido aprender a jugar mucho al TFT, además de ello, es una persona increíblemente agradable.

Tuve la bendición de volver a encontrarme con él cuando fui a la arena donde estaban jugando League Of Legends, pude conversar un poco con él y de verdad que me pareció demasiado genial poder haberme tomado una foto de nuevo con él, ya que la primera foto que nos sacamos juntos fue en el año 2023, que mi pana @thejuls y yo lo encontramos de casualidad de la misma manera, agradezco a la vida que Jupe siga siendo tan increíble persona.

Pasamos ahora a uno de los creadores de contenido más polémicos de mi país, porque hace humor satírico sobre el gobierno y la situación sociopolítica, inclusive socioeconómica del mismo, su personaje se le conoce como el Politigato, el cuál, es un gato dibujado que es igual al gato que estoy sosteniendo en la foto.

Es interesante que la persona detrás del personaje a veces suele ser una persona muy diferente a la que te imaginas, pero este chico era exactamente como lo imaginé, y su voz fue totalmente épica en persona, además del peluche de su propio personaje, siento que fue un encuentro increíble.

Por último, pero no menos importante, me conseguí con un creador de contenido muy famoso de mi país conocido como Rowre, el cuál es un streamer que trabaja contenido de Shooters en genera, pero su nicho más arraigado es el Call Of Duty en cualquier versión; algo que lo caracteriza en su contenido es que es extremadamente grosero y gracioso, pero hoy descubrí que es un personaje y que detrás de ese personaje está una persona demasiado agradable.

Cuando me le acerqué le hice una pequeña broma diciéndole que "siga insultando dominicanos y ganándoles en el Warzone", acto seguido él se rió y me dió un abrazo, me dijo que agradecía mucho que me vacilara su contenido y que de verdad se sentía muy feliz por ello, eso me impresionó, pensé que él era exactamente como su personaje, pero me llevé esa grata sorpresa.

The Cosplayers y their Cosplays

In this topic I am going to mention that this year's cosplays distinguished in quality level with the last time I went to the VGS but I was incredibly impressed by the quality of many costumes, besides the fact that the cosplayers were very epic in character, there are some that I could even take videos to see their characterization, I will show you a recap in a short video in the next few days.

But now, I will mention several cosplays that fascinated me:

• Silent Hill:

Everyone knows that my lifelong favorite video game franchise is Silent Hill and always will be, therefore, meeting cosplayers who brought to life the mythical Pyramid Head (my favorite character) and the Nurse made my day crazy, their characterization was amazing, especially that of the nurse, when you see it you will understand me.

• Arcane

You can imagine my level of excitement when I turned down an aisle as I was about to sit down for lunch with @dimeshana and we noticed a girl dressed up as Vi and a guy dressed up as Ekko, two characters from the mythical Arcane series based on the League Of Legends game.

They both came in amazingly well in character and were too kind at the time to ask for their picture, I was too happy to see them.

• Batman

This cosplay was amazing, this costume artist brought to life Nolan's Batman because he looked too much like the one starring Christian Bale, they even made him a video where he used his Batman voice, I loved his impersonation too much.

• La Parca

This cosplay of The Grim Reaper was epic, especially because this artist had even material to improve the performance of his costume, I won't tell you what so there are no spoilers, wait to see it in the video to see what I mean, but it was a detail that made his characterization totally spectacular.

• Sun Wukong

This cosplayer was AMAZING, I saw him when I entered an area where there was a cosplay contest, but beyond being just a contest to show your costume, they had to do a performance. This guy came out with his best Sun Wukong costume, the Sun Wukong song from the mythical Destroying History channel and he started dancing and playing with the cane, spinning around, he even did the mythical Michael Jackson step from Smooth Criminal, it was simply amazing, and besides, it was also too nice.

Los Cosplayers y sus Cosplays

En este tópico sí que voy a mencionar que los cosplays de este año se distinguieron en nivel de calidad con la última vez que fui a la VGS pero de sobremanera, quedé increíblemente impresionado por la calidad de muchos trajes, además del hecho de que los cosplayers entraban de forma muy épica en personaje, hay algunos que inclusive pude tomarles vídeos para ver su caracterización, les mostraré una recapitulación en un vídeo corto en los próximos días.

Pero ahora, mencionaré varios cosplays que me fascinaron:

• Silent Hill:

Todos saben que mi franquicia de videojuegos favorita de toda la vida es Silent Hill y siempre lo será, por lo tanto, el haberme encontrado con cosplayers que trajeron a la vida al mítico Pyramid Head (mi personaje favorito) y la Nurse hicieron de mi día una locura, su caracterización fue asombrosa, sobretodo el de la enfermera, cuando lo vean me entenderán.

• Arcane

Se imaginarán mi nivel de emoción cuando volteé hacia un pasillo, cuando estaba a punto de sentarme a comer con @dimeshana y nos dimos cuenta de que estaba una chica disfrazada Vi y un chico disfrazado de Ekko, dos personajes de la mítica serie Arcane basada en el juego League Of Legends.

Ambos entraron increíblemente bien en personaje y fueron demasiado amables al momento de pedirles la foto, me sentí demasiado feliz de verlos.

• Batman

Este cosplay fue increíble, este artista del disfraz trajo a la vida al Batman de Nolan porque se parecía demasiado al protagoniazado por Christian Bale, hasta le hicieron un vídeo donde usaba su voz de Batman, me encantó demasiado su personificación.

• La Parca

Este cosplay de La Parca fue épico, sobretodo porque este artista tenía inclusive material para mejorar el performance de su traje, no les voy a contar qué para que no haya spoilers, esperen a verlo en el vídeo para que vean a qué me refiero, pero fue un detalle que hizo que su caracterización fuera totalmente espectacular.

• Sun Wukong

Este cosplayer fue INCREÍBLE, lo vi al momento de entrar a un área donde había un concurso de cosplays, pero más allá de ser solo un concurso para mostrar tu traje, tenían que hacer un performance. Este chico salió con su mejor traje de Sun Wukong, la canción de Sun Wukong del mítico canal Destripando La Historia y se puso a bailar y jugar con el bastón, a dar vueltas, hasta hizo el mítico paso de Michael Jackson de Smooth Criminal, fue simplemente asombroso, y además, también fue demasiado agradable.

Final Words

This is just the beginning of what I saw at the VGS, I will make a video summary of this day 2 and a cosplay characterization video for you to live the experience with me.
