Tomé la mejor decisión del mundo al tomar el camino de la Medicina Veterinaria [ES | EN]

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo un post en @liketu para hablarles sobre una experiencia que tuve durante mis pasantías que me hizo demasiado feliz, una casualidad que hizo que la decisión de comenzar el camino rumbo a ser un gran médico veterinario se sintiera mucho mejor de lo que era antes.

El pasado Martes estuve en mi pasantía como de costumbre, con una nueva integrante llamada Samantha, la cual estudió conmigo en el curso de auxiliar veterinario, ella y yo, junto con otras 2 compañeras tuvimos notas increíbles y hacíamos un gran equipo en ese curso de los lunes, por lo que, el hecho de volver a estar con ella pero ahora como pasantes me hizo sentir bastante bien.

Estuvimos todo el día haciendo grandes cosas en la tienda, aprendiendo mucho, inclusive llevamos un regaño por un tema con una vacunación, pero nada grave, todo volviéndose un aprendizaje a futuro y sucedió la magia.

Casi al finalizar el día de pasantías, estábamos en el último paseo de los perritos viejitos que tenemos bajo cuidado en la tienda y un perro callejero intentó acercarse a ellos; Chuck, el perro con el que yo estaba, se puso algo agresivo con él, pero igual este amiguito nos siguió todo el camino hasta la tienda.

Resulta que el pequeño perrito tenía una herida en el costado, no era muy grave, pero sí había que chequearlo para poder asegurar que no evolucionara a peor; nuestro auxiliar jefe le preguntó a la doctora si podíamos atenderlo porque obviamente al ser callejero no tenía tutor, por ende, íbamos a hacer una consulta sin poder cobrarle a nadie y la doctora accedió.

Samantha y yo atendimos al perrito como práctica y fue maravilloso, era muy dócil, se dejó hacer su chequeo y su cura e inclusive posó para la foto y nos dejó una gran felicidad del hecho de haber podido ayudarlo, era demasiado inteligente y muy vivaz, decidimos llamarle "El Ilustre" porque lo encontramos en una plaza conocida como "Paseo Los Ilustres".

Esto me hizo reafirmar el hecho de que quiero ser un gran médico veterinario y poder atender a muchos animalitos, por primera vez pude ayudar a uno en situación de calle como siempre hubiera querido hacerlo y me hizo sentir increíble, así que quise compartir esta historia con ustedes, espero que disfruten las fotos.

Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you a post on @liketu to tell you about an experience I had during my internship that made me too happy, a chance that made the decision to start the path towards becoming a great veterinary doctor feel much better than it was before.

Last Tuesday I was in my internship as usual, with a new member named Samantha, who studied with me in the veterinary assistant course, she and I, along with 2 other classmates had amazing grades and we made a great team in that Monday course, so, being with her again but now as interns made me feel pretty good.

We spent the whole day doing great things in the store, learning a lot, we even had a scolding for an issue with a vaccination, but nothing serious, everything became a learning experience for the future and the magic happened.

Almost at the end of the internship day, we were on the last walk of the little old dogs we have under care in the store and a stray dog tried to approach them; Chuck, the dog I was with, got a little aggressive with him, but still this little friend followed us all the way to the store.

It turned out that the little dog had a wound on his side, it was not very serious, but it was necessary to check him to make sure that it did not evolve to worse; our assistant asked the doctor if we could attend him because obviously being a stray he had no guardian, therefore, we were going to make a consultation without being able to charge anyone and the doctor agreed.

Samantha and I took care of the dog as a practice and it was wonderful, he was very docile, he let us do his check up and his cure and he even posed for the photo and we were very happy to have been able to help him, he was very intelligent and very lively, we decided to call him "El Ilustre" because we found him in a square known as "Paseo Los Ilustres".

This made me reaffirm the fact that I want to be a great veterinarian and be able to take care of many animals, for the first time I could help one in a street situation as I had always wanted to do and it made me feel amazing, so I wanted to share this story with you, I hope you enjoy the pictures.
