The Pier, The River and The Fisherman

DSC_0959.jpg

Last weekend I was on the Costanera Norte and two days ago I shared many photos of this place, however do not use all the photos, save some that seemed ideal for an individual post, I think they are more specific images and do not necessarily show the landscape in general, more moments.

I took the first two photos when sunset was approaching and I also wanted to incorporate some others in black and white.

I love those points of light on the water and I also like images or compositions that have a minimalist intention or meaning, something that is not saturated with distracting elements, something very simple.

This guy was walking along the river bank, he had a fairly simple fishing rod and I thought it was a very good idea to take photos of that moment. There was no one else, it was just him, the river and his goal.

Another guy was also doing the same thing, although I only took a photo of him.

I share two versions in color and black and white of the first boy fishing or trying to do so. I hope you were lucky.

Remember I mentioned the term minimalist? In this last series it seems to me that I have achieved some of that in the second photo and in the last one. These types of photos for some reason are too attractive and interesting according to my perception and preferences, I thought they convey a lot even.

What do you see here? The horizon, a boat and in the distance another very tiny boat.

An image quite similar to the previous one and a boy on a bike who was frozen right in the middle.

Coastal park maintenance and cleaning employees and in my opinion the image that could be the most emotional in this post.

I hope you have a great day and I'm very grateful for those who have stopped here to appreciate these shots.

Fotazo la del agua estrellada por las luces reflejadas además del personaje que le da un toque muy especial. saludos @dimascastillo90

Greetings Dimas 😁 I like the way you explain how when the elements are fewer, simplicity is sought in the composition, more favourable results are obtained. It is what they would say "less is more". That glow left by the sea is great. By the way, the last photographs in monochrome look very good to me. It reminds me of some frames of the film "The 400 Blows" and "The Bicycle Thief".
