The Four Horsemen | Monomad Challenge [ENG/ESP]
Taking pictures of horses is great, but what if they are in black and white? Even cooler, or not? 😄
This is a second series of photographs of these animals during my visit to the Palermo racetrack in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires and I could not discard the option of having these images in this style. As I always think... the absence of colors, the achromatic makes an image more expressive.
Tomarle fotos a los caballos es genial, pero ¿Que tal si son en blanco y negro? Más genial aún, o no? 😄
Ésta es una segunda serie de fotografías de estos animales durante mi visita al hipódromo de Palermo en la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires y no podía desechar la opción de tener éstas imágenes en este estilo. Cómo siempre pienso... la ausencia de colores, el acromático hace de una imagen más expresiva.
Going out of what I usually do with photography there are always good opportunities to enter into the new, the different and that is the special thing about wanting to be integral in what we do. To embrace different styles or types of photography is a decision that I have made and that I am developing with time and circumstances.
The fourth horsemen? Well, I don't know if there are really four horsemen in this series 😅 but that title immediately came to my mind and it only has to do with a Metallica song from their first LP titled "Kill 'Em All".
Saliendo de lo que habitualmente hago con la fotografía siempre hay buenas oportunidades para entrar en lo nuevo, lo diferente y eso es lo especial de querer ser integral en lo que hacemos. Abarcar diferentes estilos o tipos de fotografías es una decisión tomada que voy desarrollando con el tiempo y las circunstancias.
¿Los cuarto jinetes? Bueno, no sé si realmente en esta serie hay cuatro jinetes 😅 pero inmediatamente se vino a mi mente ese título y solamente tiene que ver con una canción de Metallica de su primer LP titulado "Kill 'Em All".
Most of these photos were taken with a 70-300mm lens, a few with the 18-55mm kit lens. In addition to capturing these beautiful animals running around the track and competing with each other, I took other detail shots of some of the structures on the site.
Building with a lot of classic style and important architecture.
La mayoría de éstas fotos las tomé con un lente 70-300mm, pocas con el lente de kit 18-55mm. Además de captar a estos hermosos animales corriendo por la pista y compitiendo entre sí, tomé otras fotos en detalle de parte de las estructuras del lugar.
Edificación con mucho estilo clásico e importante arquitectura.
It was a different afternoon and quite a nice experience for us as I attended with my family to get out of the routine and appreciate these animals, the old structure of the place and spend some time with the family. Always being armed with the camera and a pair of lenses 😎
These last two photos are kind of a bonus, extra portraits of my wife and son.

Fué una tarde diferente y una experiencia bastante agradable para nosotros ya que asistí en familia para salir de la rutina y apreciar éstos animales, la antigua estructura del lugar y pasar rato en familia. Siempre estando armado con la cámara y un par de lentes 😎
Éstas últimas dos fotos son una especie de bono, un extra de retratos a mi esposa e hijo.
Ésta es mi entrada para el reto monomad el día de hoy y espero que hayan disfrutado de estas interesantes imágenes. Un abrazo para todos y que tengan un excelente fin de semana 🖤📸

Completamente de acuerdo que las fotografías a caballo siempre son buenas pero a blanco y negro lo mejoran todo, jaja. ¡Unas fotos íncreibles!
