One of my favorite places for street photography is definitely the Law School in Recoleta, but specifically this area. And I think it's because of this building, the school building itself, its architecture, and its grandeur. In fact, I think that if this building weren't there, I wouldn't choose it as one of my favorite places for this type of photography.

Here you can do everything, you can get everything. You can achieve super interesting compositions, play with contrasts, highlight the people who pass by, go up, down, or stay in the place, while at the same time highlighting the architecture, the grandeur of the building, its design, its style, and how gigantic it is.

Whenever I visit this place, I try to get different shots, as it is one of my favorite spots. I go there often, at different times of the day. I have even thought about taking some urban portraits there, but what attracts me most is street photography itself: what is happening, the spontaneity.

People walking by, photographing the same building... and every time I go, it feels natural to get different shots than the ones I've already taken. The thing is, no matter where you stand, it's a good angle.

In this case, I took most of the shots at a distance of between 200/300mm. I was actually standing in the United Nations Park, looking for different angles, new perspectives, and I think I succeeded.

I think what I like most about this area is the light at different times of day. There is very good lighting and lots of contrasts. Any lens you use here will work, and you will be able to take impressive shots.

So, if you ever come to Buenos Aires, are a photographer, like this type of photography, architecture, or even if you're just visiting as a tourist, you should visit the Law School building in the Recoleta neighborhood.
I hope you enjoyed this series. Warm regards.

It's like ancient Greece, but in Argentina.

That's what I think every time I visit the place and stand in front of that building.
