Over the Bridge and Some Minimalist Shots? - Monomad Challenge.

DSC_0789_1.jpg

Yesterday I was walking through the Belgrano neighborhood, I had my camera in my backpack and between one street and another I ended up in an area that I was completely unfamiliar with. But this did not belong to Belgrano, it was in another neighborhood called Colegiales. I found a somewhat different park but with an attractive design, there were few people walking and I thought it would be interesting to take out my camera to try to get some good shots.

The whole environment is interesting to have a good time there, there was a walkway where I took some photos too.

The first photo is one of my favorites, I think it can express something significant according to the appreciation of each observer.

I have always found structures to be a good attraction, especially for black and white photography. You can achieve a lot with it, including textures, for macro photography it is great.

I spent a few minutes capturing some people as they walked on the bridge or walkway.

I was lucky to have a lens with a good focal length at that time, I took some photos at 300mm even.

It is a place that I was completely unaware of and it is good that after so many years living here I can discover attractive spaces where I can take photos and compose interesting things from day to day life and are ideal for street photography.

Today before writing this I searched the internet what that place is about and it is a railway park. I saw several abandoned trains there but that's all. Leaving that aside, the design of the park itself is captivating and perfect for spending an afternoon.

I must return to take many more photos and make a much more complete article.

I went up to the catwalk for a few minutes to try to get some different shots, I thought of something minimalist, Taking into consideration that for this there should not be many elements in the composition and the truth is I don't know if I can consider these photos as minimalist. I hope you can tell me if they are :)

Once I was up there I portrayed some people but I wanted only one person to be in the composition, taking advantage of the afternoon light to also highlight some shadows.

In this last series there are some people with their pets and although I think that there are some elements within the composition I also consider that in a certain way there is simplicity.

I like this last photo better to consider it minimalist, it has a concept that goes according to it in my opinion.

What do you think? Do you have any favorites? Leave me a comment about it :)

Many beautiful pictures, especially the ones of the people walking, but I must say that my favorite is the first one, it looks like a perfect picture to promote a love movie. Excellent work my friend @dimascastillo90!

Capturing people during their own daily routine and applying a monochrome filter, simply adds mystery and let the mind be creative.

That's the beauty of monochrome. It makes the settings more dramatic, nostalgic, mysterious... It applies very well to street photography. Thanks for stopping by @behiver :)

Yes, I have a favorite. The structural shots you took. The rest are beautiful too notwithstanding.

It's nice to see how many places and angles you covered just by taking your camera with you to Belgrano. Although you ended up in Colegiales, lol.

You did great. Well done.
