Monumentalism in Recoleta - Monomad Challenge.

I'm sure I read somewhere about the architectural style of the law school building in Recoleta, which is why this post has the term “Monumentalism” in it, because that's what it's all about. Although it has always seemed very Greek to me, probably because of the columns, it really looks like a temple and is worth taking lots of photos to appreciate and highlight its imposing facade. This is also where you can achieve a lot of symmetry if you know where to focus. It's impossible not to have a good time here looking for creativity and taking advantage of the structure.
A lens with a focal length of 18mm is ideal, but in my opinion, the more angular the better. Similarly, even if you have a 300mm lens, you will be able to compose scenes or capture other parts of this building, and it will surely be impressive.

I've been there too many times... believe me! It never ceases to amaze me. Although I've never done a long exposure night series, I think it's the only thing I haven't done in that area with such an impressive structure.
I don't know the reasons why I've sometimes been forbidden from taking photos with a DSLR camera, but on many other occasions nobody has said anything about it. It must be because at that moment there was some important event, it could be political or cultural. Whatever the case may be, if you ever come to Buenos Aires, a visit to the Recoleta neighborhood is a must. Get off at the Facultad de Derecho station on line H and admire this architectural gem.

Do as this Portuguese-speaking tourist does (I heard her) and use your latest iPhone to capture the cityscape 😁
I hope you enjoyed this and I wish you a great weekend!

That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
