Golden Lights Microcentro, Buenos Aires - Street Photography.

Architecture and lights of San Nicolás.
I rarely walking through the San Nicolás neighborhood, and when I have the opportunity to do so, I usually do it in the afternoon, which is not ideal in terms of lighting. Yes, I can capture interesting moments and get something attractive between the light and shadows, but it's not the same as being here after 5 p.m., during sunset or the blue hour. The landscape changes completely, and we can find magic among the many buildings and urban design of this small area of the neighborhood.
Fortunately, I was there yesterday at the perfect time when the sun is lowest and you can appreciate the golden tones on the buildings and the pavement. It wasn't even the golden hour, but I suppose because of the location and the narrow streets, the light seeped into every corner, drawing lines on the streets and hitting the huge structures.

The first photo you'll see is of the Argentine Ministry of the Interior building, located on Bartolomé Mitre street and which amazes with its beautiful dome. It's not a very tall building, but its design and style speak for itself.

This is one of the wonderful things that happens in this area; one part is illuminated and the other remains in shadow. You can use this to your advantage to compose many scenes from different angles according to your photographic eye.

This shot is quite particular.
The main facade of the state's national electoral chamber building. The incandescent gold stands out, as do the giant windows and its door. I would have liked that person to have been in focus as they passed by.

This is the building of the former German transatlantic bank. I hadn't actually taken pictures of this building before; it's majestic and imposing.

A different perspective of the Bencich building dome from the narrow Bartolomé Mitre street.

This is one of my favorite photos from this set; my eyes saw a division between light and shadow and I wanted to capture that moment before the light dipped further.
Did you like anything you saw? Let me know in the comments :)

That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
