Everyday Weekend Stories in the Woods - Monomad Challenge.

One of the things that captivates me most about street photography is that you can capture moments, and every moment is interesting. But when it comes to capturing certain moments in particular, it's even more captivating.

You can take a photo of someone taking a nap, having a picnic, or simply walking a dog or pet. However, I think that when it comes to children or adults, their expressions, gestures, and every action they take create a much more relevant scenario and have a much greater impact on the people who observe them.

Today I want to share with you a series of photos I took a couple of weeks ago in the Palermo Woods, continuing with the series I had been sharing previously. Today I'm going to make an exception with regard to the title. For a few days I won't be able to create a cover image, as I just had surgery today. I have very little mobility in my right hand and it's difficult for me to edit, write, and type at the same time.

So, for a few days I'll be sharing posts as usual, without a cover image.

Continuing with the street photography series in the Palermo Woods, I realized that a good shot or an interesting shot requires, for the most part, time and patience.

Leaving aside the technical aspect, which is obviously important, I am increasingly aware that 90% of photography is about patience, a little play of light and contrast, a good location, and simply waiting for something important, something interesting, something out of the ordinary to happen; some sublime scene, something that attracts you enough to capture it.

In fact, I feel that there are many expressions here, especially in children, in games, in that happiness, that freedom, that carefree innocence. The expressions that appear in these images are extremely important and very meaningful to me, and I hope they are to you as well.

Today I am presenting a black and white version of this series because I believe or rather, I am sure that these photographs are meant to be seen this way. For me, it's more expressive; it always has been in this type of photography.

I hope you like some of these shots or that you can relate to some of these moments, whether as a photographer or simply by looking at these images.

If for any reason they have an impact on you, make you smile, keep you looking at them for a few seconds, or you simply have a favorite, don't hesitate to let me know in the comments.

I hope you have a wonderful week and a wonderful night/day.

It's always exciting because everyday has different stories, different events and the uniqueness of each day depends on how we see the world in a better view. Such beautiful moments
