EVERYDAY LIFE, San Nicolás, Street Photography - Monomad Challenge.
Everyday Scenes.
I'm sure that this neighborhood as a whole is a wonderful area for many photographers, including many styles such as architecture, portraits, and of course street photography. It's a place I always decide to go because I know I'll get something interesting no matter what time or moment, day, afternoon, or night. It's usually very beautiful to walk around there and capture everyday life, people passing by, and contrasts between them and the large buildings in the background.
There are many buildings that house important institutions such as the Colon Theater, the Roca School, and the courthouses, which, combined with Lavalle Square, means you can see people in suits or sportswear jogging around the area.
When I talk about elegance, I mean this; in a way, it seems as if I'm capturing the past with this gentleman and his outfit.
This gentleman is walking towards the back of the Colón Theatre, and in the background you can see one of its doors, its magnificent columns, and lanterns.
At the same time, on the side of this theater, students and couples are often hanging out on one of the benches in the area.
Main facade of the Roca school at a distance of 18mm, for some reason that cyclist gives a special touch to the image, don't you think?
A lady walks by the corner of the Colón theater while in the photo below two people stare at each other. That's a photo I really liked.
