Between People and Nature - Yellow Tones, Street Photography.

The Palermo forests are usually one of my favorite places to take photos, but also to disconnect from all the noise of the city. I have visited this place many times when I feel overwhelmed by everyday life and routine... It is a way to escape and disconnect from what is not real and connect with what is. Connecting with nature is part of being human because we are nature, we are originally connected to it, and it is where we always have to go, where we have to be, and what is good for us.
The day I took these and other photos, it was very early and the woods were very quiet, with very few people around, which I like because it makes the stay there a little more personal, more private, and you can connect better. A moment to breathe consciously, ground yourself, soak up the sun, and of course take some photos.

I noticed that many people were walking along the streets and narrow paths of the park, but they always had their phones in their hands and many were immersed in their screens. It seems to me that this is not really connecting with the natural environment, yet many enjoy walking and spending time there, and that's cool.

It's also a place that offers the opportunity to exercise outdoors, ride bikes, rent skates, and many people take advantage of that.
One of my plans for the rest of the summer is to try to go there at least twice a week and jog for at least 40 minutes. It's an activity I don't usually do, and I want to complement it with strength training. I'm sure my body will thank me for it, and I'll try to make it a habit even on cold fall and winter days.

When it comes to photography, I gave all the photos I took there a cinematic touch. Yellow and orange tones are typical of this style and are now part of my photography style, even for portraits. I think it's something I identify with and could possibly exploit these preferences in another field in the future. These are plans I'm thinking of carrying out and ideas I have in mind.

As the days go by, I will be sharing many more photos from this day with you, but I want to alternate between street photography and portraits to make it more dynamic.
What do you think of this editing style for outdoor and nature photography? If you liked it, let me know in the comments. Have a wonderful weekend :)

That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
