Beers and "Asado" at Home - Tasting 3 Types of Beer and Some Interesting Shots.

Beers and "Asado" at Home.

I have been waiting for spring for months, first because the weather is more pleasant and not as harsh as winter and second because there is more desire to go up to the terrace and have a barbecue (Asado)... Why "Asado"? It's what it's called here in Argentina. I also love the idea of tasting different types of beer, whether more industrial or craft. There are many brands, flavors and types of beer here, both national and international.

This week I left work and I had in mind to eat and try something different, so I did it. I went to the market and bought 3 different beers.

One of them is Blue Moon, although I had tried this one before.

Although now I don't really feel like drinking beer regularly, from time to time I am interested in trying different flavors and for me three are enough. I liked Blue Moon beer, it has a fruity orange flavor, It's wheat and I think the orange flavor is much more pronounced than other beers I've tried, It's quite refreshing in my opinion. It has 5.4% alcohol content.

A fairly well-known and common beer in other countries, so I think many will have tried it.

But how about a cannabis beer?

420 Chala Lager Bierhaus

This beer caught my attention, it is a light beer with little bitterness and the alcoholic strength is 4.20%... Coincidence? I don't believe it. It was quite good and does not contain THC, it is basically a beer with a cannabis aroma, it is totally different from any other without a doubt.

It's a beer produced in Argentina.

Another of the beers I tried was this one from the well-known Patagonia brand, it is one of the most iconic brands in the country. In my opinion it has a great variety of beers and it is the best, I even visited the Patagonia brewery in Patagonia at some point, an unforgettable experience.

IPA ESTELAR

I always really liked IPA, a beer with a strong flavor and pronounced bitterness. I really liked this one because it also has fruity flavors and a good texture.

It has an IBU of 25 and an alcoholic level of 5.8%

All this while I enjoyed lighting the ember, a small mountain of charcoal, fire and waiting while I tasted these beautiful beers and took some interesting shots, I listened to some good rock and enjoyed the warm sunny weather.

I don't know the reason why I have always liked taking photos of a grill, it must be because of the tones, the flame, the texture, I don't know, it is very attractive to me.

Here are some cuts of meat on the grill.

I'm always very exaggerated when buying food, there were only 3 people and the children and I think I went overboard with the amount but it is never wasted and is left for the next day 😆

This is a perfect combination of barbecue and beer, if you accompany it with good music and pleasant company it is even more so.

I'm a fan of this type of food and these environments, I am the one who always cooks but I also think that I enjoy the process very much, everything that goes into doing this is very pleasant for me, No stress, just this moment!

First of all, stunning photographs! Really awesome stuff. And secondly, I am glad that it is not just us South Africans that enjoy a cold beer with the warm fire going in the background chargrilling some food. We call it "braai" in my home language! And lastly, love the three beers, but have to go with that IPA. Looks seriously good and not too high with the ABV. Enjoy!

"braai" sounds great, I'll use it :) I think we agree, I'm going with the IPA too, it was the one I liked the most also because of its flavor. This is something very common in this part of the world, enjoying good beers while there is a fire in the background, it is a poem haha

Thank you very much for your words and your good comment friend, I really appreciate it.

Have a good week 📸

Same here! We have beers that they sell in 750ml and 1-liter bottles, and they are so often associated with fire (braai and BBQ) here. Cheap beers, produced by one of the largest breweries conglomerates (SAB Miller and AB inbev). But the memories are the only thing that keeps you actually buying it! Otherwise, always the craft beer. Have a good one! Enjoy.
