Meugang Chet 📷 Monomad Challenge

Meugang is a tradition of enjoying beef in Aceh, usually the meugang day is held the day before the implementation of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. In a year there are 3 meugang traditions in Aceh. Meugang is held for 2 days, we call it Meugang Chet and Meugang Rayeuk (small Meugang and big Meugang); the first day is called Meugang Chet--where the Acehnese people start buying meat to cook various dishes and enjoy with family.

Today is Meugang Chet day in Aceh, two more days into the month of Ramadan, so the meugang day has begun. Meat sellers have started selling beef since dawn this morning until tomorrow night. Tomorrow is Meugang Rayeuk day, although today is just entering Meugang Chet, people have started buying meat in small quantities, tomorrow they will buy a lot of meat at the market to cook while waiting for relatives who visit or even children who return to their parents' house to enjoy meat on Meugang day.

I tried to capture some images and make them as entries in this Monomad Challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
