At the Krueng Cunda 📷 Monomad Challenge
The Cunda Estuary, or Krueng Cunda, in Lhokseumawe City, is a saltwater river. This river forms from the ocean trench surrounding Banda Sakti Island. Krueng Cunda is a tidal river that is actually a strait—a saltwater flow separating mainland Lhokseumawe from the island of Sumatra. It has two estuaries, both leading to the Strait of Malacca. This also makes the Cunda River a popular fishing ecosystem for fishermen.
This morning I was here to enjoy the fresh air, but even so, there were already quite a few fishermen out and about, even though it was still early. This spot is actually a typical Lhokseumawe sunset spot. Many fishermen fish manually or in fish cages, as well as locals looking for shellfish and other seafood at the estuary.
I tried to capture some images and make them as entries in this Monomad Challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
In this Monomad Challenge contest, I want to invite my friends to see some of Black and White photos caught by my camera; "At the Cunda River", the pictures presented to my friends in Black and white Community 😉
