I believe that family is not just a word. Throughout my life, I have realized what a treasure it is. Often, we do not appreciate the privilege of having one, and the truth is that sometimes we need to go through darkness to be able to appreciate it. But it is important to always recognize where we come from and what we can change in the present to improve every day as human beings.
As I say in the title of this post, I believe that family is the first refuge we know. It is that sometimes imperfect but always essential place where we learn to be, to love, and to behave.
The emotional part of our lives is based on our childhood experiences and our environment. If we think about the moments that are truly anchored in our souls, those that, when we remember them, give us a physical feeling of warmth and belonging, we don't feel adrift in such a big world.

Something I greatly appreciate and that my husband and I are working on as a family is The Art of Being Present: In this fast-paced world, spending time with family is an act of resistance, which is sometimes difficult due to work and other commitments. But we must always prioritize family time. It's not about the number of hours, but the quality of attention, laughter, games. A shared moment is worth its weight in gold when you put your phone aside, as technology also distances us from our loved ones.
