Mussoorie next stop: Dalai Hills Adventure 🏔️❤️

After the George Everest hike, as I mentioned in my earlier post, we headed for dinner and went back to the hostel after some strolling at Mall Road.

The next day, after some random exploring, we headed to Dalai Hills in Happy Valley for a quiet evening. The walk up was short and easy; in between a monastery was there. After reaching up, can see beautiful prayer flags moved in the wind, and a Buddha statue stood calm at the top. The place was peaceful. The kind of quiet that makes the mind settle.

We reached just before sunset. The sky turned golden and the hills looked layered and endless. We sat for a while and just watched the light change. It felt good to do nothing and enjoy nature. Got some pictures clicked.

Later, we wanted to try local cuisine, so we did some research and headed to Little Llama Cafe near Picture Palace. Warm lights, soft music, mountain views from the upper floor, everything felt cozy. We ordered steamed momos and a big bowl of thukpa. The soup was hot and comforting. The momos were fresh and juicy. We shared everything and didn’t rush. Ended our dinner with my favourite dessert yes its cheesecake.

The calm of Dalai Hills, the colour of the flags, the quiet sunset, then a friendly cafe and a simple, hearty meal. No big plans. No long list. That's how I spent my 2nd day in Mussoorie.

peaceful and attractive place, with healthy and traditional food, except the cake, which is delicious but with many carbohidrates
