Book Review : Forty rules of Love❤️🌟

Disclaimer: Im not such a fan of romantic fiction, I don’t know why but they seem unrealistic. So the title itself was a no for me. But my friend told me it's not the same so I decided to give it a try. And yes, it was worth it.

Here, I'm with another novel review. "The 40 Rules of Love" by Elif Shafak.

If you love reading something lyrical combined with spirituality. Then a must-read I'll say. Basically, This novel intertwines the lives of two parallel protagonists, exploring the themes of love, spirituality, and self-discovery. With its lyrical prose, this book takes readers on a journey that lingers long after the final page is turned.

Set in both the thirteenth and twenty-first centuries, Shafak masterfully weaves together the narratives of Ella, a forty-year-old unhappily married woman, and the Persian poet Rumi. Ella's life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes a reader for a literary agent and stumbles upon the manuscript of "Sweet Blasphemy," a novel based on Rumi's life. Through this Ella embarks on a personal transformation.

"The 40 Rules of Love" also serves as a spiritual guide. Shafak effortlessly integrates Rumi's wisdom through the forty rules of love. Each rule is a gem of wisdom. These rules resonate with universal truths and inspire readers to embark on their own quests for self-discovery and inner peace.

It is a beautifully crafted novel that blends historical fiction, spiritual enlightenment, and a timeless exploration of the human heart. Elif Shafak's masterful storytelling makes this book a treasure for those seeking literary pleasure and spiritual nourishment. Whether you are a fan of historical fiction, poetry, or philosophy, this book is sure to leave a mark on your soul and inspire you to embrace love.

Btw, would love to know, what you guys have been reading lately.
