Business versus Job// EspañolNegocios versus trabajo [EN-ES]

I once learned from an author that a job is what you keep for yourself, while a business is what you leave behind for your family. By the way life was designed, it is of great importance that we get ourselves involved in business. A business is part of a legacy that even when you leave, it can passed on to your heir(s). You don't pass on your job to your heir(s). This is what distinguishes the poor from the rich.

No wonder the Christian bible, in the book of Proverbs 13:22, tells us that a good man leaves an inheritance for his children. The inheritance may not necessarily be a business, it could be a property as well which can be used to establish a business that can generate revenue at the long run. If all you have and are content with is your job, then maybe you need a different perspective.

One of the common traits of the most successful people in the world is that they are all business men. They were able to make use of their God-given talent and make a business out of it for themselves. Why do you think they did so? So that they can have something their kids can be able to hold onto when they are no more. If your only source of income is gotten from a means that can't be transferred to anyone, then it's going to die with you.

In most cases, such means could be that unique talent of yours. You can't pass your talent to your children, but you can pass on a business and its principles to them. That's the reason why we hear of multimillionaire celebrities who despite their fame and wealth establish businesses for themselves. They don't do it because they have insatiable taste for money–at least not all of them. They do it because they're concerned about what they can fall back on after they retire and also what they can live behind for their children.

Let's cite an example concerning one of my favorite public figures, in the person of Cristiano Ronaldo. We all know him to be a very skilled person at what he does. The revenue he generates by simply doing what he loves is enough to sustain him for the whole of his career and even beyond. But yet, he still has establishments whereby he generates income. His children deserves something from their father to hold onto, even if later in future they also find their path and make out something for themselves.

By default, everyone should be business oriented. You may be extremely good at your field or expertise. But if you lack the arsenals of a good marketer, then you're are not good enough. People who make large profits are those who know how to sell, not those who know how to make dresses, write books, make music, and the rest (I'm sure you get the point). That's why getting into business and mastering it's principles can help you in whatever career path you choose and also gives you an edge over others.

Una vez aprendí de un autor que un trabajo es lo que uno conserva para sí mismo, mientras que un negocio es lo que uno deja para su familia. Por la forma en que está diseñada la vida, es de gran importancia que nos involucremos en los negocios. Un negocio es parte de un legado que, incluso cuando uno se va, puede pasar a su(s) heredero(s). Uno no pasa su trabajo a su(s) heredero(s). Esto es lo que distingue a los pobres de los ricos.

No es de extrañar que la Biblia cristiana, en el libro de Proverbios 13:22, nos diga que un buen hombre deja una herencia para sus hijos. La herencia puede no ser necesariamente un negocio, también puede ser una propiedad que se puede utilizar para establecer un negocio que pueda generar ingresos a largo plazo. Si todo lo que tiene y con lo que está contento es su trabajo, entonces tal vez necesite una perspectiva diferente.

Uno de los rasgos comunes de las personas más exitosas del mundo es que todos son hombres de negocios. Fueron capaces de hacer uso de su talento dado por Dios y hacer de él un negocio para sí mismos. ¿Por qué crees que lo hicieron? Para tener algo que sus hijos puedan conservar cuando ellos ya no estén. Si tu única fuente de ingresos proviene de un medio que no se puede transferir a nadie, entonces morirá contigo.

En la mayoría de los casos, ese medio podría ser ese talento único que tienes. No puedes transmitir tu talento a tus hijos, pero sí puedes transmitirles un negocio y sus principios. Esa es la razón por la que escuchamos hablar de celebridades multimillonarias que, a pesar de su fama y riqueza, crean negocios por sí mismas. No lo hacen porque tengan un gusto insaciable por el dinero, al menos no todos. Lo hacen porque les preocupa lo que pueden tener después de jubilarse y también lo que pueden dejar para sus hijos.

Citemos un ejemplo sobre una de mis figuras públicas favoritas, en la persona de Cristiano Ronaldo. Todos sabemos que es una persona muy hábil en lo que hace. Los ingresos que genera simplemente haciendo lo que ama son suficientes para sostenerlo durante toda su carrera e incluso más allá. Pero, aun así, sigue teniendo establecimientos con los que genera ingresos. Sus hijos merecen algo de su padre a lo que aferrarse, incluso si más adelante en el futuro también encuentran su camino y hacen algo por sí mismos.

Por defecto, todo el mundo debería estar orientado a los negocios. Puede que seas extremadamente bueno en tu campo o en tu especialidad, pero si careces de los arsenales de un buen vendedor, entonces no eres lo suficientemente bueno. Las personas que obtienen grandes ganancias son las que saben vender, no las que saben confeccionar vestidos, escribir libros, hacer música y el resto (estoy seguro de que entiendes la idea). Es por eso que entrar en el mundo de los negocios y dominar sus principios puede ayudarte en cualquier carrera que elijas y también te da una ventaja sobre los demás.
