STREET ART #169 – Aalborg Carnival is famous (Denmark)

This time I will continue with murals from the multi-storey car park next to Aalborg Culture and Congress Centre. Four floors and almost all the walls were painted. Because the car park was closed and totally empty for cars, we understood that it wasn't finised. (september 2023).




The theme on this wall is Aalborg Carnival

It is held every year in the spring. I haven't experienced it myself, but a two of my sisters who live in Aalborg have participated. You dress up, dancing in the streets and partying for the whole of a weekend in May. For as long as I can remember, this has been a regular event. I'm not sure when it all started, but it was a long, long time ago.

The car park has several floors and each of them has a different theme when it comes to street art. But every piece on this floor is linked to well-known places or activities that characterize Aalborg. The carnival is one of them.
