📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography #91 : A cayman in the Argentine wetlands

(Edited)

This cayman is one out of many in the Esteros del Ibera National Park, located in northern Argentina. These wetlands is the home of a large variety of animals. Including the cayman. We saw lots of them. This national park is the second largest wetlands on the south Amercan continent. Only Pantanal in Brazil is larger. I would love to see Caymen in the wild, what a great experience. Ever since watching various documentaries on Brazil I’ve wanted to visit and this might be a good place to start. The Pantanal also appeals to me too.

Theese wetlands are absolutely wonderful. I did plan for Pantanal, but since I was in Argentina, this wetland was closer 😊
