This photo was taken at the beach in Belle Mare, Mauritius. This bird didn't seem to be afraid of us, sitting on the beach. I think it came close because we were eating our lunch pack on the beach. This is a fantastic close-up! 💖 That bird looks so poised and confident...almost like it's posing for the camera 😊 It's funny to think it was just trying to get a free meal 😅
