Is it able to go closer to you? Is there a protective barrier from them?

No, they did not get closer and no barrier. We were in a car driving through the park. We stopped when we saw them.

We were lucky to spot them. They just looked at us too. The afternoon does give great light that made it a pleasant drive🙂
