📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography #110 : One of the inhabitants in Argentina

This is a capybara. I took the photo in Esteros del Ibera National Park – a wetland area in northern Argentina. We saw many of these huge rodent that is from the guinea pig family. But it is huge compared with the guinea pig. It has a size of approx 70/80 meters high. This guy was close to the boardwalk where we were walking. Haven't seen capybara in person, though other types of guinea pigs are being sold as pets.

This visit in Argentina was the first time I have seen them in real life.
