📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography #152 : Fiesta in Quito, Ecuador
This photo was taken at the Plaza Grande in Quito, the capital of Ecuador. On the 26th of November they were celebrating a Maket Day. The streets were filled with happy, celbrating people. In addition there were parades that lasted for hours. I was standing on the corner of the plaza when I took this photo, as I was looking at the parades and looking at the spectators and street vendors. There were lots going on in the city that day. I have noticed (for your posts and photos) that you have been traveling in South America lately.
That is a correct observation🙂 In November and December 25, I was in Colombia and Ecuador. A wonderful 5 week trip that certainly wants me to go back soon🙂

South America is amazing. I try to spent enough time to be there as it is a long flight. When I was in Chile and Argentina in 2019, that was 7 weeks...I hope to visit Bolivia one day and would like to combine with northern Chile. I would like to visit Atacama again🙂
