📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography #122 : The Esteros del Iberá wetlands in Argentina
This photo was taken in Colonia del Pellegrini. A small town located at the entrance to the national park. We stayed in Pellegrini and made it our base for exploring the wetlands. There are several trails one can follow, but a boat tour on the lake is a great experience. You get up close to the wildlife. There are more than 360 bird species living here. In addition to caymans, capybara, deer and lots of others. This ecosystem of freshwater contains lakes, grassland and forest. It’s located in the north-eastern corner of Argentina, in the province of Corrientes. There were hardly any people visiting when I was here last year.
