On the photo you see the very active volcano on the island of La Reunion in the Indian Ocean. This volcano is dominating this small island. Almost from any point of the island you can see it. It is 2.632 meters above sea level. From the time when recordings of activity have been possible, there has been mor than 150 eruptions. It is still active and when you are up on the top you will see lava from the different eruptions and feel the warmths. The Piton de la Fournaise was added to the UNESCO List of natural treasures IN 2010. I went right to the top of the large crater (not dangerous if keeping to the track)
