To get this view of Medellin take the cable car to the top. Medellin is situated in a narrow valley, which makes many of the comunas cling to the mountainside. This is Comuna 13 where of these neighborhoods with steep and narrow streets. Many steep stairs, but in adition to the cable car the neighborhood has electric escalators, just like those in apartment stores!
