📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography #137 : Santiago from above

The city you see here is part of the capital of Chile, Santiago de Chile. When taking the photo, I am standing on top, or almost on top of Cerro San Cristobal. This hill has a hight of 869 meter. You don't have to walk to get to the top. There is a funicular train. From the top there are viewpoints, but there is no need to go back down to town too soon. The park offers more than just the view. There is a 14 meter high, white statue of Virgin de la Inmaculada Consepcion at the top. There are benches in the front, which makes up the seats of the outdoor church. This photo is my entry to @photofeed contest https://ecency.com/hive-153349/@photofeed/photofeed-contest-cityscape-photography-round-137

Wow! What an epic view! 🙌 It sounds like a perfect outing too 💖 The sight of the city sprawling out beneath the Virgin statue must be truly unforgettable ✨
