📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photography #131 : Standing on remains from WWII

This photo shows Chris standing on top some of the remains of what was once a cannon ramp used during WWII. Where he stands, he has a fantastic view of the coast and part of the city of Kristiansand. The point is the highest here in Bertes Bukta, so it was a good place to place cannons. Today there are benches placed up here. On a quiet, sunny day it is nice to sit here and watch the sea. That must be a historic place. We have those same shrine in our town. Our province is one of the heavily devastated areas during the war.
We still find remains so many places around the world. They are here to remind us about all the negative sides of war, but we still have wars, armed conflicts etc so many places....
