Back to Antichess!! Maintaining the 2000 points

It's been a while since I've played my favorite chess variant, antichess, which is the perfect excuse to let your brain slowly decompose, this is what I do instead of practicing openings but at least I enjoy it

This time I had to be in a daily tournament that takes place every so often in Lichess, I have a couple of games that I would like to show you against some of the best on the server, more than 2000 rating in many of them

A good game with a very good outcome, it's always good to start off winning.

A very close game against one of the best in the tournament. I thought I was going to lose, but a slip in the last moves made me turn things around and end up winning in a good way. These endgames in antichess tournaments are mostly complex. It rarely gets to this stage of the game, but most of the time it is intense.

Many games are also decided by the first moves, if you don't play your opening well you can end up in a bad position from the start and not make it to the middlegame, sometimes there are sequences that are forced and you can't do anything but watch as your opponent finishes you off, I won this game using a similar concept

and then I lost a game in the same way, there were players who were quite strong too so it's fun to see what tricks they come up with on the board.

I would like to see more people on the boards in these tournaments, it really is a variant as fun as the horde of pawns but here I think there is a more worked component in terms of strategies and even openings, there is a whole world in that area, I usually see many players who are just starting and play very well too.

I finished in fifth position so the result is not bad at all for playing a couple of minutes, now I have the goal of passing the 2100 rating and with the performance I have had in these tournaments I am sure that I will soon be able to pass it.
