Try It Out - Course 1 for newbies

Hi guys, I am super excited to publish my first post on Hive. I have gone through the first course where I learnt how to publish short content. So I want to demonstrate what I have learnt from the course.

First of all, I had to download the Waves app from Google Play Store. It was not really difficult to download and install into my device. The mobile app has a simple interface. After installation, I proceeded to open the app to create my very first wave.

This is the welcome page. It was the first page that opened after clicking on the app icon. The welcome page contains a box that I had to click to show that I have agreed to the terms and conditions of the app. After that, I clicked the "get started" button.

So once the next page opened, I was able to see all the many beautiful short contents that was published by others. So the first thing I had to do was to login in order to create my own wave. I clicked on the hamburger menu at top left side of the app to reveal the login options for me. In the next screen, I will show you what I did to login.

There are many items on this page and I had to choose exactly what I wanted. The login icon is found at the top of the page. So I had to click it so that I could login. After clicking it, Another window opened for me. Let me show you the options in my next screen.

On this particular screen, there are several options. So i had to click on the preferred login option for me which using the private posting key. First of all, I got my key from the keys fike which I downloaded when I signed up.

There are two boxes for each of username and password. I clicked on the username box first.

I inserted my username and my password key to enable me login.

After the password being inserted i proceeded by clicking on login. It didnt take long for the window to refresh and bring up the waves page again. This time, I saw that I have been logged in. It was an amazing thing and time for me to write my first wave.

This is the completion part where i wrote what was happening around me and i uploaded a picture through the picture icon at the bottom.

After writing my short content and selecting the picture, it was time to publish it. I clicked the arrow to my right in order to publish my wave. It was a great experience.

I really enjoyed this course and it was not really hard to finish up. I will be reading the next course soonest and am really excited to learn more new things about hive through these amazing courses.
