On this day in the year 2020, Nigeria witnessed a massacre of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.

We will remember them! Already 3 years have passed, and it seemed like yesterday 💔 💔 💔

Rest in Peace to the heroes whose lives were cut short by the wicked governments. We mourn our brothers and sisters who were murdered by the government. Some are still in prison up to this day, and we hope and pray that they regain their freedom.

The EndSARS movement has proven that governments do the opposite of what the people want 😭

During the crisis, many young people were brutally killed. To mention a few, this talented artist Oke tweeted "Nigeria will not end me" Unfortunately, he was killed on the same day.

This young boy, Jimoh, was standing and watching the protesters. Jimoh was shot by a stray bullet from the Police. He was buried in a pool of blood.

A lot of individuals were killed in their communities after the Lekki massacre by our soldiers. Up to this moment, the governments have insisted that there were no casualties at the Lekki Toll Gate.

What the youths did was demand an end to police brutality and good governance, but the government responded with violence. Up to this moment, the oppression has not stopped, and Nigeria has been getting worse every day with insecurity, police brutality, bad governance, and a terrible economy.

We, the youths, only have voices and social media as our power, but we hope the killers won't go unpunished, with those who sabotage many dreams and increase the hardships of the Nigerian citizens.
