noVNC - Client to Manage the Servers

I was a big user of the Putty. And there are many people still stuck in the world of the putty. Meanwhile the world has gone ahead and they are now allowing the people to browse the desktop through the browser. And you dont even need the VNC and the RDP for this.

How come it is possible for running the desktop without having to use the VNC and the RDP? I have played around with the variety of similar tools and have found that the paid tools tend to dominate this scene and there is more power and features in the paid stack.

And then I came across the tool known as the noVNC?

You can take a look at the noVNC here.

First thing you would be testing is the command line. Like say on digitalocean and the vultr you can make use of the noVNC and then make sure to get into the backend of any Linux distro that you have used to so far. And you would get enough to get started. And in fact have no issues getting your tasks done.

You would not even need the Putty either. You can easily make use of the Putty tool and you can make use of it for the design and also the connections that you can make would be lot easier with the noVNC. I have found out that noVNC seems to be lot better and easier if you consider variety of the features that are being offered by the noVNC even for desktop users you would love it.

For example, it can even run your Ubuntu desktop server and give you access based on where you have it hosted like azure, vultr, digitalocean etc.You would be able to easily use the same.

But most of my work goes around the Terminal. Like say you can run the commands and also the terminal access is one touch for most of the services from the vultr, azure and the digitalocean and other places. I have found that it can be pretty cool tool that most of the hosting companies should use instead of forcing to use the putty and others.

I still use putty and it is not a bad tool. I just feel that noVNC seems to be a good tool that does the work done and also you would be able to teach this to others. And there is very minimal learning curve.Anyone who has spent enough time doing the devOPS would find this pretty cool to use as well.

This seems like a good tool as it is quick to learn and WebUI via HTTPS is easier to connect to than VNC via SSH tunneling.
