Reflective Cogitation.

The only form of social media I seem to be getting these days is WhatsApp, Discord and Hive. For work, I have other social media platforms but personally, nothing they do there interests me. On WhatsApp, I really only view some status updates. Those of close friends and a few others. I also have this habit that once you post something that signifies you live and eat from the bottom of the food chain, I mute you and never view your updates again.
Even so, every once a while, I come across things that leave me in deep thoughts. I could spend days mulling over something, be it a thought or an emotion, trying to understand how I feel or what to make of it. If it is something that has already happened, I think back to it and the whole process, the crescendo and the climax and eventually the way it left me. This is how I pick my lessons and learn from my mistakes.
I have come across very thought-provoking content recently. Mostly because I have muted the unnecessary noise and what I view now are things I don’t mind going over. One of the contents I saw on a thread that I reposted from Instagram-threads to my WhatsApp status goes like this:
“You attract what you are. You give what you have. You become what you believe.”
The Law of Attraction is unabated and remains a constant in the life of any human who looks to replicate the life they see in their minds. I have learned over the past few days (all over again) that when you feel good about yourself, it transcends to others. You only treat people the way you see yourself. If you treat yourself well, eat well, exercise, sleep, dress well, you automatically unlock your inner child and then you transfer the goodness you have to those around you. Your energy and confidence reach a new high and so is the way you see others.
This now brings me back to a post where the lady was saying that people most of the time spend their whole lives looking for love and settling for less than they are worth because they have believed that they need someone to love and accept them. She proceeded to say that when you find that you need someone to complete you then you need to work on yourself. You need to accept yourself and when you do that, you will find that you begin to attract people who compliment and encourage you.
Emphasis on the “compliment”. I have been there so I understood perfectly what she meant. See, I have come to realise that life is beautiful and everyday is a good day when you just live and guess what? I saw a photo that resounded that message:
“There's so much power in believing that everything will work out even when you don't know how or when. You just believe that it will”.

A powerful reflection my lady and truly, everything you said is on point. The mind is very powerful and several times, I have experimented setting limits for myself mentally which eventually played out just as predicted.
It's important that we channel our mindset in the right direction always because doing otherwise comes with regret.
Indeed. We don't want a life filled with regrets. So, we just focus our mind on what we want.
