Classic: Keep What I Own.

Funny how I was writing a plot along these lines. Reincarnation. I have watched so many dramas and read so many comics with this trope. Most of the time, it is always a revenge plot and other times it is just traveling through time. What I can say is that they are always fun to read, a joy to watch and sometimes, they don’t have a good ending. But that doesn’t matter now. This is about me.

If I had the choice, I would choose to keep my memories. Why? Because it is the best option I can think of at this point in my life. My answer could change in the future but right now, it remains that I would rather keep those memories and alter the course of my life. I can guarantee that it would be better and I would be of better help to people at large. Of course, many won’t agree with me. Heck, even as I type this my mind is flooded with questions. Would that really be my choice? Do I want to keep painful memories in exchange for a life that may end up being more painful?

Seriously, if I really had such choices presented before me, I might make a dumb decision. The matter remains that of the two, I have no idea which is dumb. I may just end up picking the dumb one. Maybe I’ll ask the deity if I can develop a split personality instead? Sounds dumb? Well, maybe. I am good at making such decisions. Haha. Anyway, it remains that if a deity offers me the chance to reincarnate, I will most likely choose with the perspective of whatever my situation might be.
