Der Stablecoin-Markt auf Solana hat ein neues Allzeithoch erreicht, wie Daten von DeFiLlama zeigen. Das Gesamtangebot aller Stablecoins auf der Blockchain erreichte demnach kürzlich knapp 13 Milliarden US-Dollar.

Damit festigt das Netzwerk seinen dritten Platz hinter Ethereum und Tron – mit einem Marktanteil von 5,47 Prozent. Solana bleibt jedoch die führende Blockchain für den USDC Stablecoin von Circle.

Das Wachstum wird angetrieben durch die Zunahme des USDC- und USDT-Angebots auf Solana, das seit Jahresbeginn um jeweils 146 beziehungsweise 126 Prozent wuchs. Erst gestern emittierte der Stablecoin-Anbieter weitere 250 Millionen Stück seines USD-Coins auf dem Highspeed-Netzwerk.

Solana kann dank der wachsenden Stablecoin-Adoption seine Dominanz im Krypto-Sektor ausbauen – und das, obwohl der SOL-Kurs knapp 50 Prozent von seinem Allzeithoch entfernt ist.

Grayscale reicht Solana ETF ein

Neben VanEck und Bitwise geht auch Grayscale ins Rennen um die Genehmigung eines Solana Spot ETFs.

Grayscale hat einen Antrag für einen Solana-ETF bei der SEC eingereicht. Das geht aus dem offiziellen Dokument hervor.
Der ETF soll an der New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) handeln, unter dem Symbol “GSOL”.

“Der Zweck des Trusts besteht darin, “SOL” zu halten, das heißt digitale Vermögenswerte, die auf einem quelloffenen kryptografischen Protokoll basieren, das im Solana-Netzwerk existiert”, so Grayscale im Antrag.

Eine entsprechende Absichtserklärung hatte Grayscale bereits im Dezember per 19b-4-Antrag eingereicht.

Mein persönliches Fazit:

Wenn Stablecoins gedruckt werden ist dies immer ein sehr Bullishes Zeichen. Der Countdown läuft. Für mich ist nur die frage ob Solana tatsächlich dieses Jahr noch die 1000$ Marke knackt?

The stablecoin market on Solana has reached a new all-time high, according to data from DeFiLlama. The total supply of all stablecoins on the blockchain recently reached nearly $13 billion.

This consolidates the network's third place behind Ethereum and Tron, with a market share of 5.47 percent. However, Solana remains the leading blockchain for Circle's USDC stablecoin.

The growth is driven by the increase in the USDC and USDT supply on Solana, which have grown by 146 and 126 percent, respectively, since the beginning of the year. Just yesterday, the stablecoin provider issued another 250 million units of its USD coin on the high-speed network.

Thanks to growing stablecoin adoption, Solana is expanding its dominance in the crypto sector – even though the SOL price is almost 50 percent off its all-time high.

Grayscale files for Solana ETF

Alongside VanEck and Bitwise, Grayscale is also entering the race for approval of a Solana Spot ETF.

Grayscale has filed an application for a Solana ETF with the SEC, according to the official document.
The ETF will trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol "GSOL."

"The purpose of the trust is to hold SOL, digital assets based on an open-source cryptographic protocol existing on the Solana network," Grayscale stated in the application.

Grayscale had already submitted a corresponding letter of intent in December via a 19b-4 application.

My personal conclusion:

When stablecoins are printed, it's always a very bullish sign. The countdown is on. For me, the only question is: Will Solana actually break the $1,000 mark this year?
