You need about 2m² of space for one pumpkin plant. There are also smaller ornamental pumpkins. However, some ornamental pumpkins aren't edible.
Your plants will thrive at temperatures above 10 degrees Celsius.
If you live in the southern hemisphere, you can take your time growing them. The competition doesn't end until December 31st.

How about growing it in a humid weather where temps go above 33C in the day and nights stay at 28C.
These are perfect temperatures for your plants. However, pumpkins prefer shady spots with little sun. To thrive, the pumpkin needs 5 liters of water per day. Depending on the variety, more water may be needed.
Great then, only issue is the balcony area as it is not that big, but let's see how to manage it first thing is look for bigger pots. Thanks for such an explanatory response.
Very beautiful. You can also wrap the individual tendrils around your balcony railing. This will definitely look very interesting.
